    My husband had to receive treatment in the medical center during the cruise we were on. We returned Feb 3rd, and I contacted Tin Leg on Feb 5th, they set an phone appointment with their claims person for Feb 6th. I talked to him and forwarded the paperwork - the itemised bill from the Medical Center and prrof of our cruise - two sheets of paper. Later that day I received an email saying the claim was approved and the check would be mailed by the end of the week. I received it in today's mail - Feb 10th. Very satisfied

    I bought the insurance primarily for protection in the event we had to cancel at the last minute. Little did I know that I would injure myself during a visit to a port. The injury required medical attention that the ship provided. I contacted tin leg after returning home. They promptly responded and did everything that they said they would do. The claim was paid within a week of my returning home. There will be no question of who I will use in the future.

    My mother passes away 3 days before our departure for New Zealand and Australia. We had to re-arrange our travel for a week later, and a later return. I called to create the claim, was well supported through that process. All additional costs for booking travel, and the non-refundable home stays were covered, and paid promptly.

    We took a 2nd policy out because of the changed dates. Upon arrival in Melbourne we had a medical emergency, which we handled locally. Ambulance ride, 4 hours in the Emergency Room.... upon our return I called and created a claim, submitted ER documentation, and a later ambulance paperwork. Both were approved for payment within 5-6 days, check has arrived and everything is as I'd hoped it would go.

    I was concerned about this because of the wide range of reviews for all providers. Tin Leg was absolutely perfect to work with, no guff or argument about anything, just factual, supportive, and clear on their answers. It certainly helped that they agreed our claim was valid, they approved and paid promptly... but that is why we purchased and I'm glad we did. On our next travels I'll not hesitate to select a policy with Tin Leg.

    Our airline notified us of a flight delay which would subsequently have us miss our connecting flight.

    Immediately after speaking with the airline agent, I called Tin Leg to reaffirm our flight delay coverage. Our insurance representative told us we would be covered and set up a phone call with a claims agent upon return.

    The process was professional and smooth. All documentation has been submitted and we are now awaiting approval of our claim.

    Tin Leg was wonderful from the beginning. When we learned that our flight was going to be delayed and we spoke to the airlines, the next call I made was to Tin Leg. After speaking with their customer service agent Jody and the information regarding our policy he confirmed with us, we called American Airlines back to find out that all flights we had a choice of, were now not available and the next flight back to BWI from Rome was now Jan. 30, 2018 (3 days later). We advised Jody at Tin Leg of this change he was very helpful and noted our file and set up an interview with an agent upon our return home.

    Spoke with Cheri at our scheduled interview time and the process was very smooth. I scanned all documents and receipts and completed the claim form on line.

    Within a week or so I had a check for the correct amount.

    I highly recommend Tin Leg and Squaremouth.
