    I was able to reach a customer service rep before deciding to choose Tin Leg. All went well on the trip, so we have no need to file a claim.

    Squaremouth makes it easy to compare travel insurance policies and to sign up for one. Confirmation and documentation of the selected policy are provided promptly by email. When last summer my wife and I planned winter trips to Guatemala and Mexico, Tin Leg offered the best value. When in the fall I was unexpectedly diagnosed with heart problems requiring a lengthy process of multiple hospital tests and monitoring by a cardiologist and the expectation of surgery, I had to cancel both trips. Tin Leg in concert with Squaremouth made applying for trip cancellation reimbursement a systematic, methodical, and convenient process: one phone call to initiate filing a claim, a next day phone interview at my convenience, almost immediate submission of the claim with electronic signature and over the next week supporting documentation electronically. Frequent emails from Tin Leg and Squaremouth confirmed what they had received from me and where I was in the process of my claim's review and finally that the claim had been approved and a check was being mailed. I was impressed with their professionalism throughout the process. As a result of this experience, I plan to use Squaremouth when deciding on future travel policies and will expect Tin Leg to continue to be at the top of my list of choices.

    Loved dealing with Tin Leg. The service was great. Only 1 issue was the very nice gentleman who phoned to set up our claim was difficult—impossible to understand. The connection was so poor I had to have him repeat everything several times. He tried adjusting his headset but it did not help.
    However the claim was processed and paid in full.

    I really like that your rates and the many options are very competitive and generally better than the tour/cruise companies offer. I also love your policy to mediate disputes. I recommend you to other travelers as my past experiences with your service have been very positive.

    No contact during trip but question that I emailed at conclusion of trip was promptly responded to.

    Unfortunately, my problem (no passport) wasn’t covered by the policy so I was unable to claim any reimbursement for the missed trip. A costly lesson

    i filed a claim for lost luggage, the customer service rep was very helpful, fortunately my bag turned up after 4 days and all ended well as the incident occurred on our way home and not starting our trip.

    I DID NOT HAVE TO UTILIZE THE INSURANCE SO FOR ME THAT WAS A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. HAD I TO FOR ANY REASON COVERED I WOULD BE ABLE TO PROVIDE MORE VALUABLE INFORMATION BASED UPON THE EXPERIENCE

    The service was great. There was a time when I would not need to purchase travel insurance; but that time is now gone. It was not difficult for me to find the coverage that I needed and at a reasonable price.
