Process for trip cancellation was slower and required more documentation than I expected. There could have been more progress reporting during the process to make progress clearer. In the end, I was satisfied by my treatment.

Had a wonderful experience with Tin Leg. One of our lodges had a fire prior to our leaving for our trip. I contacted Tin Leg and informed them that we were having to pay extra for substitute lodging. The girl told me that upon my return I could make the claim and told me what I needed. Two days after our return I was given an appointment for a phone interview. I submitted the form along with the required documents. They kept me updated throughout the process and sent me a check for the extra we had to pay in a couple of weeks. Very Satisfied and would highly recommend.

Let me start by saying that Tin Leg's customer service is amazing. The representative that I dealt with was extremely responsive, very professional and also compassionate. We had to interrupt a long-planned trip when my father-in-law became gravely ill while we were traveling in Europe. Despite it being a popular U.S. holiday weekend we received prompt customer support, including the Claims Manager's cell phone number to call or text at any hour with questions or issues that we needed assistance with. When we returned to the U.S., we filed a trip interruption claim. Even though the circumstances associated with our claim weren't completely standard and we couldn't get all the paperwork perfectly filled out due to patient privacy issues, Tin Leg recognized that we had done our best to meet the substantive requirements of their claim paperwork/process and approved 100% of our claim. Oh, and did I mention that the claim was reviewed, approved and that we had a check within 14 days of filing the claim? Absolutely incredible. We always buy trip insurance whenever we travel, and Tin Leg now has a customer for life in us.
