Claim was processed in a very timely manner and without any additional requests for information past the initial request for details.
My only complaint is that I was unable to initiate the claim at my convenience. I had to make an appointment to speak to an agent. Because I work full time, it was not easy because they are only available from 9 to 5. So it took over a week to get a time during my lunch hour. Once that was completed, everything went very smoothly.
The most important aspect of a travel insurance policy is how the company handles claims. Tin Leg did an excellent job for us with a recent claim.
Due to a family illness we needed to cancel our trip. I called Tin Leg to tell them and they scheduled an interview for the following week. They called me at exactly the scheduled time, discussed the reason for the claim, and then sent me claim docs to sign using Docusign.
The only complex process was assembling, scanning and uploading the required supporting documentation: nine pieces in total, which took several days to acquire.
I filed a claim on a Friday; the entire claimed amount was approved the following Tuesday and a check was sent.
Based on my experience, I would certainly use Tin Leg again.

They paid the medical claims the both my wife and I had with a minimum of hassle and within a week of our filing the claim. We could not expect better service.
Brief phone interview followed by form with detailed bill attached; check was issued promptly and paid 100% of charges! Would have been a hardship tacking on additional medical bill to the cost of the cruise. Would purchase again as you never know what your own insurance will pay when you are out of network, etc.
