We had to cancel our trip entirely because my husband got very sick post surgery and are still working on getting the documents to Tin Lleg - which seem to be confusing at best. Every time I send info - I get an email saying they need more info! Really working hard on this as we've lost a lot of money.

This was the 1st time I needed to cancel a trip and file a claim. I have bought travel insurance at least 6 times in the past, not knowing whether it would come through when I needed it. Now that the claim has been processed and the check arrived in the mail, I can honestly say that having travel insurance was worth the cost. I just wish I knew when I bought the policy what documentation I needed so that it would have been easier to process. But it all worked out.

We g had to increase the time of our coverage by one day. Square Mouth or the provider charged us a small fee to do so. It was very easy.
My husband and myself had to seek medical care while on our cruise. It was very expensive. I did not realize that our medical coverage was secondary. This means filing a claim with Medicare and waiting up to 60 days to get a statement from them that we have no coverage. Then we can file with Tin Leg. Not sure I will do this again. We were out over $1500 for medical care that is going to take several months to get any reimbursement. Do you have any policies that are primary versus secondary coverage?

I need help with my claim, I have them all thin documents necessary when I filed my claim and they are continuously asking me for documents I already gave them as a stalling method to not paying me

I ordered my insurance for my trip in February for an April trip, just trying to get ahead of my travel plans and then a few weeks later had to cancel the trip. The irony of "getting ahead of it" was that I couldn't cancel the insurance! So I paid $161 for insurance on a trip I never took because I missed some deadline of canceling the policy. Absolutely atrocious, unjust, ridiculous. I talked to 3 different people to try to get a refund. Nope. "that's just our policy."
Yeah, well my policy is to never use your insurance company again, and to tell every traveling social media group I am on, reaching tens of thousands of people (I am on about 5 different travel groups, that reach about 50K people each in their audience), not to use Squaremouth or Tin Leg.
I don't take kindly to bogus cancellation policies that screw me over in this fashion.
