Tin Leg Travel Insurance Reviews

I had an unexpected accident while on board a cruise ship causing me to have stitches to the head. I was concerned that, despite copious amounts of documentation, the insurance company would drag its feet or try to delay any payment. This turned out not to be the case at all. I filed my claim with TinLeg via their website and everything was promptly handled. I would highly recommend them although I hope never to have to file a claim again!

Customer service was very helpful when we made a last minute extension to our trip. They listened well, were prompt, and helped us get the coverage we wanted.

My experience filing a claim with Tin Leg was relatively smooth. I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 because the person handling my claim did not tell me what all documentation they needed up front. Instead, the requests kept coming in pieces which delayed the process because we went back and forth at least 3 times as they would ask me for something else and I would provide it. I would choose a Tin Leg policy again.

Tin leg employees were efficient, polite, and helpful. I highly recommend them.

Filing a claim and providing documentation was very simple. The agent handling my claim was very responsive. I would recommend Tin Leg to anyone looking for travel insurance.

My only question was it was difficult to tell which vendors offered "cancel for any reason", which I wanted. I did discover CFAR option when I clicked on the insurance I wanted to get, so it worked out fine.
