My flight was cancelled and after rescheduling it I made contact with Customer Service to get the departure date changed on my policy. The representative I spoke with told me that the dates on my policy were wrong to begin with and then we went into a lengthy conversation about what such a change involved. This was very stressful (my flight was rescheduled to that evening) time consuming and ultimately unnecessary.
The representative called back later to let me know that I had a duplicate policy and they would refund the cost of that and change the dates on the policy he claimed the dates were originally incorrect on and without further charge. While on the phone I checked my records and it turned out that the representative had failed to look at the year on the policies and it turned out he was looking at a policy I took out for a trip around the same time last year! He apologized. Such a basic mistake that caused me such inconvenience.

My flight was cancelled 10 hours before it was set to depart for my vacations.
I Missed an entire day of my trip which was paid for.
No one wants to take responsibility and reimburse me for the lost day that I paid for or the extra expenses that I incured do to the flight cancellation; Not the airline, Not the resort, Not the insurance that I purchased to protect my trip in case of any issues.
So No I am not satisfied with any part of the insurance that I purchased for this trip and will not be going through this company in the future for any of my trips.

I called several times before purchasing to get explanation of coverage. I find travel insurance to be a little “scammish” in that it is very specific of what is covered and not covered. If you ask about a scenario and if it is covered, the answer will be “it depends.” The reviews for the claim process tend to be not great. In the end, I did not have to make a claim.

I requested several changes which were made right away and when our trip got rescheduled you were able to transfer our coverage to the new trip without any increase in premium. Great customer service. This is our second policy with you and we will continue to use you for our future travel needs.
I expected a few hurdles to get a refund from an insurance company, but overall the experience was good
The degree of documentation requested has gone to a disproportionate amount. I paid for travel insurance for a specific trip. They are requesting details for itinerary and flight information that is irrelevant to the claim. I paid x amount, and because of flight cancelation I had to pay y amount. Insurance should cover the difference in my opinion. There requests are obstructionist and meant to string the claim along - not settle it. After buying policies from them for years I can now see what its' really worth.
