The claims process with Tin Leg was very easy and efficient. I purchased travel insurance because I wanted insurance in the event I may need a medical evacuation to return home for an emergency. During my trip I had a cancelled flight while in transit and was delayed 30 hours. Tin Leg covered the cost of my hotel and meals. The claims process was simple and handled very quickly. I've used Tin Leg for travel insurance in the past but this was my first claim. I will definitely continue to use Tin Leg for future travel.

I filed a claim on Feb. 26 and only received a general acknowledgement email. I sent a second request and have not heard anything back from Tin Leg. It's very disappointing.

Agent was very polite and explained documentation of airline delay and cancellation coverage based on reasons provided by airline are critical. Keep everything they send you.

We were requested to send so many documents and receipts i er a period of weeks to review our claim and ultimately our claim was denied due to reason(s) that they could find to deny us. I would give the company a zero star!

The claim required a significant amount of documentation to be submitted before the claim was approved.
Our trip was delayed due to cartel activity in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I call customer service to verify the medial coverqage was extended. Person I spoke with very friendly and answered that question. I also inquired if this event would be covered by Travel Delay. She thought it would, but clarified she is not a claims adjustor.
We thought we mind need to file a claim, but ended up not.
