Tin Leg customers praise the provider’s customer service, especially when making changes to their coverage or trip details. However, some have expressed frustration with the claims process, particularly regarding the amount of documentation required.
Used Tin Leg many times. Found the agents easy to work with and very reasonable regarding claims resolution. Filed a claim for medical treatment while on our most recent cruise. It is early in the process, but I expect another positive experience once all is settled. My 5 star rating covers the entire process and also the scope of coverage provided by Tin Leg, which is certainly more extensive than that provided by most cruise lines and other travel companies.
Tin Leg is great! We had to file a claim for medical bills we incurred while on our trip. Once we had submitted all the requested paperwork the process was quick and easy. Great company to work with!
I purchase Tin Leg travel insurance since it was very comprehensive for a reasonable price. I did not need to use it.
I submitted a claim. I called about 1 1/2 weeks later to follow up. The agent answering said my claim had been filed and he would forward my message to the claims department and I should hear back within 1-2 business days. It’s now been about 1 1/2 weeks and I haven’t heard back from them.

I have used Tin Leg insurance several times. After researching several different policies, I found that, for me, the Tin Leg Gold policy had the best coverage for the price. The agents I have contacted have always been very professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend this product.

Hello,
We went with your company because of the good rating you had.
We had no bad experience the first time we used you in 2023 on our Egypt, Jordan, Iseral trip.
So we went through you again for our trip that was planned to Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
But 60 plus days prior to our departure, I ended up in the hospital with what all thought was a heart attack.
I was there for 4 plus days.
I’ve since been having multiple tests with many different doctors, all trying to figure out what is going on.
We called to put in a claim 62 days before our departure.
All we were putting in the claim for was the airline cost.
The main travel company refunded our money.
The airline tickets were purchased through Priceline.
We were flat out told they were not refundable. So we filed a claim.
I have sent many documents, Doctor signature page, MRI results, etc.
Only to get back in responses of we need more doctors reports.
This is insane.
We were beyond dissatisfied with the entire process.
You were not the company with the good reputation we thought.
Very disappointing.

Originally when we put in the claim, it was very frustrating.
But we learned it was handled by an outsourced agency.
We we received an email from Tin Leg after our trip was supposed to have taken place, and voiced how things had happened,
Tin Leg made the frustration go away.
It was handled quickly and efficiently.
We would highly recommend Tin Leg to others.

Good to have for peace of mind.
While in excellent health, traveling solo for a month at 69 to remote areas north of the Arctic Circle, then remote areas of Scotland, I was especially concerned with potential medical emergency issues, repatriation of remains, etc. The policy did all I wanted it to do to calm me and my family. The costs, which I had many comparisons for, was reasonable. The staff n the phone as I made my final choices was excellent in helping me understand apples to apples across several proposals.
my initial clam was very difficult to submit. I am still in a hospital in South Korea with expectation to be discharged this week, with follow up treatment possible before I am cleared to fly
My wife found out several days ago that her brother has advanced cancer with current time yo live undetermined. He lives in Philippines and she will be going there after my discharge. I also need to know how to get compensation for canceled flight and a flight that was delayed 9 total hours due in part to airline canceling original flight without notice, and second flight was also canceled after an almost 3 hour delay
