Squaremouth gave me a vehicle to compare different options and see the impact of varying coverage. Very helpful. I later called to increase coverage. Representative was very helpful.
Didn't have to use it, but customer service was prompt in answering questions and they were very personable while maintaining a professional demeanor.
The TravelInsured company I thought will be seamless. But Theri claim process was too long and elaborate and I had to prepare documents for 2-3 days to start filing. I jus completed it today and hope it will be seamless and not nitpik me through the process.
I cancelled the trip before departure due to a medical reason, called Travel Insured and they explained how to make a claim. The phone interaction was friendly and went well. Followup was timely.
We had to cancel our trip about a week before our planned departure due to significant health issues that prevented me from traveling (particularly flying) for several weeks, including the duration of the scheduled trip.
When we contacted Travel Insured International (TII), they promptly emailed guidance and forms for filing a 'cancellation for medical reasons'. However, a follow-up call to try to clarify what exactly we needed to submit given that we had purchased a tour that didn't differentiate the cost of tour components, and included a group flight reservation purchased through the tour coordinator. The response left us somewhat guessing what would suffice.
We just recently submitted what we hope meets the requirements, and received a confirmation that they received our package yesterday.
We are hoping the documentation we submitted will suffice and that our claim will be processed in a timely manner.
Excellent customer care via a knowledgeable representative who explained everything and helped me and my family purchase the correct product.
Great customer service person who explained everything and helped us purchase the correct product.
Apparently medical is a secondary payer. They are making me submit my claim to Medicare before they’ll pay. Medicare clearly states it won’t pay for international travel so this is a useless exercise
Claim is pending and I havent heard back from travel insured since 6/29/26. I asked for an update today July 11 as I’ve heard no further communication from them.
I notified the insurance of my hospitalization in Watford England. The different nsmes for the compsny is a little confusing
