We needed to adjust our travel dates soon after purchasing. The process was quick and easy!
Our trip was schedules for 6/28/19. One family member had to cancel 6 weeks before the trip due to illness of their child. Customer service sent me the claim forms and we are in the process of gathering the necessary documents to submit the claim.
I will reserve judgement on the quality of service after the claim is settled.

They were helpful when I had questions about the right policy and took the time to work with me to determine the best policy and recommendations that saved me money. No complaints and luckily I did not have to use it.

They used a healthcare service and the transport was excellent. Travelex also got through the bureaucracy at the European hospital and attained a "good to fly" certificate. Once we got all the paper work in, the response time was very good.
We purchased policies that we never needed to file a claim for. We did call prior to departure to add additional dates to coverage and the customer service was excellent.

I should know more soon as I had to file a claim about two weeks after we got back. The claim is still being processed. Thne insurance seems to be very good, my trip was not . We had numerous problems made much worse by my husbands bad health and his cousin was killed in an auto accident while we were on this ttrip.
I'll check back with you as soon as I hear from them on the status of my claim.

It took over 2 months for them to give me an answer. I didn't expect them to refund all I'd paid for the trip but they didn't pay anything. Nothing at all. I have many many friends and they have all known I was waiting to hear from my travel insurance. These folks all travel a lot every year. I told them all about my expierence with your travel insurance and I will continue to tell about my experience with your company.

Our flight from Bolivia to Miami was cancelled and rescheduled the next day. We had to rebook tickets on our connecting flights with another airline from Miami to Seattle and incurred a total of $1900 including "change fees". I am submitting all information to Travelex and waiting for their response.

My family of 4 had a flight from Bolivia to Miami which was cancelled causing us to miss our connection onto Seattle. We ended up paying over $1,800 to purchase new tickets along with a penalty. Berkshire Hathaway outlined well how I needed to document my claim. We were held up for 2 months trying to get a letter from the airline which cancelled our flight explaining what happened. But, once we submitted that letter, we had a check in our mail from Berkshire Hathaway for the full amount we paid. I couldn't believe it!
