I contacted Travelex Insurance regarding a claim and asked to have a claim form sent to me. I have not received the form as of this date.

I have contacted the Claims Administrator on your behalf and can advise that your claim forms were mailed on November 22, 2016, to the address on file. Please keep in mind the United States Postal Service can sometimes take 7-10 business days. Per your request on November 28, the claim forms were also emailed to you.
To date the completed claim forms have not been received by our claims department.

I had to change the date of my departure and I was under the impression that this was something Squaremouth could do. It turned out that Squaremouth couldn't help me. I asked a Squaremouth representative at the time of purchase if I could change the beginning date on the policy. I was told yes. As it turns out it was at the discretion of Travelex and Squaremouth couldn't assist me. I told the representative I was flying standby and that the departure date might be moved back a few days from the original date. I wish I had known when I bought the policy.
Since the claim is still open, I would prefer to defer comments until the case is closed

I thought everything was fine with one exception. I was interested in cancel for any reason insurance and when I first called I found out that I had to inform the insurer of the first date occurrence of planning my trip. I use a booking service and often hold a hotel until I'm sure of my trip plan. But I had to determine the first booking / hold which was months before my trip and even though I eventually cancelled that hold. So it was frustrating and although I gave the exact date I can't say for sure I would've been covered if I had to cancel for any reason and had a claim.
The other information, insurance coverage documents, billing went fine. And, now I know more about your process and I'm clearer about when to let you know when I start trip planning. I will use your company again and also recommend i.

With regards to your concern about the initial deposit date when planning a trip. Our protection plans insure prepaid, forfeited, nonrefundable Payments or Deposits you paid for your covered trip.
For further clarification about the initial deposit, please refer to the Description of Coverage, page 8, Definition - Payments or Deposits means the amount actually paid for the Insured’s Covered Trip. Payments or Deposits may be made by cash, check, credit card, prepaid vouchers, incurred change fees, administrative fees, and Currency units. Payments made in the form of a non-paid certificate, non-paid voucher or discount are not Payments or deposits as defined herein.

Did not receive a response to our luggage being lost. Emailed several times received no response. Did not receive any guidance on what we should do.
Arrived back to the USA emailed again and then called for guidance. Have since received an email from your customer service with claim form attached.

I apologize for the delay in responding to your email and have been advised the Baggage Delay claim forms were emailed on September 7, 2016. I have contacted the Claims Administrator on your behalf and have been advised that for reasons unknown at this time, the Claim Customer Service Representative (CSR) did not respond to your email. This error will be reviewed with the CSR and his manager.

Insurance is highly regulated and in order to confirm coverage, completed claim forms and documentation are an important part of the claim process in order to validate coverage as it relates to the specific conditions as listed in the plan purchased.

Sent all of our receipts through and most of them were paid on the first submittal. I called about why the other items weren't paid and they were paid about 2 weeks later. Not sure why they all weren't paid the first time. Seemed a bit questionable, but nonetheless, they were paid.

Upon review of your file, it was identified that based on the information currently on file, you were eligible for an additional reimbursement.

Fast no hassle reimbursement for claim . Since we are Medicare recipients we buy medical travel insurance for traveling internationally. My wife tripped on a cobblestone in Paris and in keeping her balance tore a tendon in her left foot. The exam, x-ray, crutches etc at the American Hospital in Paris totaled about 425 euros. When we returned home a claim was filed with Travelex following their instructions. Travelex never called or contacted us but in less than three weeks we received a full reimbursement for our claim. Very satisfied with policy and price from SquareMouth. Will definitely use this company again.
