All the necessary information for the claim was filed in late March/early April (hospital bills/doctor bills, tour company invoice, etc.) and we finally received the trip reimbursement payment in mid-August! I understand travel insurance companies have been very busy, particularly with COVID-related claims, but our cancellation had nothing to do with COVID.
Haven’t heard from Trawick. No response to my claim.

Info and coverage was easy to get. The site is clear and it is easy to pick among providers. When I had to add a day of coverage the agent was helpful snd efficient. I didn’t have to file a claim so I can’t speak to that process, but we felt comfortable with the coverage.
I notified Tradwick on 8/1/22 that I had Covid and my departure date was 8/4/22. As of today my claim has not been proceed nor have I received an update about my claim status
Our family of 5 trip back home was delayed by a snowstorm. Despite contracted coverage for delayed trip, Trawick International had only partially covered our lodging expenses ( paid only $500 of the $1896 we paid for lodging) without any explanation for denial for the rest of the amount. There was absolutely no communication from the insurance despite my multiple attempts to contact them. Furthermore, they took over 6 months to review the claim despite the fact that the claim was filed within 2 weeks of our return from the trip. My request to speak to someone regarding the denial also went unanswered.
Trawick International/ National Mutual is a shady travel insurance company- stay away!
