Trawick customers appreciate the value for money offered by the policies and the ease of modifying them before a trip. However, some travelers report difficulty reaching customer service, particularly after filing a claim.
I submitted a claim but it doesn't show up on my account because it is pending. I would feel more assured of its receipt if the account at least said "pending" instead of "no claims". I am also not convinced that the claim I submitted is the claim that was received in that I had no option to save an in-process claim but still needed to write the claim over several days. I'm not sure what the computer saved or not. I took screen shots of what I think got submitted.
All that is to say I'm not confident in the process of filing a claim so far. Even a follow up email from Trawick to say it had been received or even an inkling of how long it might take to get processed would be helpful. In this era of heightened insecurity, any touchstones along the way would be helpful.
I made a claim and it’s been over a month and I have heard absolutely nothing
This year is travel year for us! It’s interesting that I chose Trawick Travel insurance for all of our trip insurance needs. Their prices are the best and they have the best reviews, too! Although we don’t want to cancel our trip, having Trawick trip insurance is a good backup in case we need to cancel.
We just finished our one trip and all’s well. We didn’t need to make a claim.
The claim took an excessive amount of time to process! I truly feel that this claim is ligit, but you say no😡. I lost an entire day of vacation and had to make two trips to the airport to even get my trip started! Total inconvenience!!!!! Delta never notified me of a completely different carrier and flight time and day. Myticket clearly stated trip interrupted

Never again will I buy trip insurance from Trawick. My doctor informed me that I would not be able to fly or visit
Mexico City because of oxygen issues. I immediately contacted Trawick, told them that the hotel I had reserved canceled my reservation without charge, so the only claim would be for airfare. Only after trying numerous times to get a refund from Aeromexico whose only option was a voucher which I would be unable to use, did I contact Trawick. They sent me a form to complete which I submitted along with my doctor’s report. I received one notice about their large volume of claims. Then nothing. I contacted them again with no response. Finally, I called and was told my claim was being processed and not to expect anything for at least 60 days. So, they have my money and don’t even have the courtesy to respond. My friend who was traveling with me has received her refund. Terrible service from Trawick.
I am still waiting to speak with a representative. Claim filed on 7-18-2022.

I requested an additional day be added to my coverage dates via email and 24 hours later my policy was updated at no extra cost and the representative was very nice.
Got Covid on the trip. Incurred expenses.
The site was easy to use. The number of policies available was great. I was able to find a policy with good coverage that was within my budget
