While on our first Alaskan Cruise, I unfortunately came down with COVID. So far our experience with and interaction with Trawick has been Exceptional! Their personnel helped us prepare the Insurance Forms needed to file our Claim. Without their help we wouldn’t have known where to begin. Anxiously awaiting reimbursement for most of missed trip. We recognize that all policies are governed by the details of the offered coverage. Still, we were disappointed to learn that the Missed Connection coverage offered by Trawick is so limited: it only covers you in the event of a weather delay. In other words, if you miss your tour/cruise departure because an airline has cancelled your flight and put you on another two days later, you miss your departure and are not covered. Policies offered by other providers are more inclusive and we wish this limitation had been clearer on the comparison chart
We had to cancel a trip for 6 people because our grandson became infected with Covid. We filed a claim on June 16, and the woman I spoke to (Gigi) was very helpful and nice. We are now awaiting review of this claim, and I was told it would likely take some time. We are hoping for the best, as the Covid coverage that included our family was the main reason we selected Trawick.
Air Canada canceled flight 8757 on Sat. June 18th. We filed a claim for 1 lost bag ( it has been 2.5 weeks) and one for hotel and a meal as we drove from Toronto to Columbus OH. I talked to a rep who found us in the system and directed me to the other rep who said to use the website. The website did not recognize our last name and policy number. I just sent CBP an email via the website asking for help in making a claim.
Time to get a claim approved and reimbursed is exceptionally long.
Easy to sign up for insurance. Fast response when I changed the date and the amount.
It took awhile to hear anything back but I was happy when I got my check.
I obtained the claim form easily. However I received an email that it could take awhile to process due to volume of claims.
Trawick Int'l has sent me a statement that it may take up to 60 days to process my claim. It seems to me this is far too long to process a very simple straight forward claim with all the requested documents submitted as requested.
