After I purchased my travel insurance policy online I realized that I had given the wrong return date. I immediately called and the woman who took my call was great. She didn’t just correct my mistake but was so helpful and nice. I loved talking to her.
I purchased this policy because it offered some reimbursement for Covid-related trip interruptions. Unfortunately, both my husband and I tested positive while we were in Iceland. So that required my contacting Trawick once we arrived home (yesterday).
Upon our delayed return, I contacted Squaremouth (where policy was purchased), and the representative immediately got me connected to Trawick. That telephone representative was exceptional. She listened to my travel issue "saga" with patience. She then assured me that we were likely entitled to refund on many of the additional expenses we incurred due to testing positive and being required to quarantine in Iceland. She also offered to email me specific instructions and the form necessary to submit this certificate. She was very pleasant and reassuring.
As soon as we recover from both the effects of COVID and jet lag, we will complete the necessary documentation and return the details to Trawick.
System glitch dates so i never had chance to get helped.
I filed a claim with Trawick as I had to cancel my trip to Hawaii. My parents both died just days before my trip departure, and in fact, their funeral service was on the day of my scheduled departure. After submitting my claim, I received a message stating that they are backlogged due to the number of claims received. I tried to contact them again last week and since I believe this is an extremely long time. I received the same message from them. It has been 10 weeks since I submitted my claim.
I am very frustrated by this insurance company. I had to submit a claim a few years ago to a different travel insurance company. My claim was taken care of and reimbursement received within three weeks.
I am very happy with your promise of coverage. While I didn't use your services, I certainly will be coming back to you for my future travel insurance needs.
I called after testing positive for covid and had to leave the cruise boat to get some direction from Trawick. I was told to make sure to get a doctor's note and keep all receipts. That was it. I guess I had hoped for more than that.
