My experience with Squaremouth has been great. Unfortunately, I needed to file a claim with Trawick due to an extended baggage delay. The website they offer to upload the supporting documents and claim filing did not work properly, so I had to email them all of the supporting documents. Hopefully they process it relatively quickly, although an auto-response via email suggested that they are backlogged.
Flying international with the COVID challenge is all about timing and alignment. For me, my trip was for three weeks. However, the first flight from Austin Texas to LAX was cancelled and the next available was four days later. This was due to a late February snow storm. Yes, I had to get a new PCR Test and adjust my insurance duration. This was achieved and my trip was successful. One tip I would share is not to align your policy duration directly with your flight dates, especially your return trip. I would recommend adding several days just encase you extend your trip or have cancellations.
We could not take our due to Belize Covid, they had a level 4 which we thought to dangerous to go So we canceled our trip and gave a more than 30 day notice to Travewick but they refuse to refund our money back.
they are helpful when i call them, my claim is in processes but still waiting for result, i couldn't travel because my covid -19 test came positive.
The representative that I spoke to explained the policies and I feel like I got the best policy for my trip! Lucky for me I did not need to use it but it gave my family peace of mind .thank you…need to purchase another policy for an upcoming trip soon 😊

I have filed a claim a couple of dates before our travel date because we got COVID. It has been 3 months and we do not even have a claim #. No one respond us or pick up the phone. Awful experience and we did not receive our refund.
I have called trawick many, many times. No one ever answers the phone. I also tried to submit my claim online but the system says it cannot find my policy. I have a paid receipt, policy number and proof of policy. I also have tried to contact square mouth who did not pick up the phone either. So it appears I spent several hundred dollars on travel insurance which did absolutely nothing. Abs I lost a wallet with many more several hundred dollars inside, important documents etc. I am up a stream without a paddle and extremely dissatisfied with the complete lack of service I have been able to obtain.
