Trawick customers appreciate the value for money offered by the policies and the ease of modifying them before a trip. However, some travelers report difficulty reaching customer service, particularly after filing a claim.
The process of filing a claim and the amount of paperwork required (including credit card statements ‘verifying’ everything even when receipts clearly show costs/payments) is infuriating. The phone numbers, I have 5 different ones to file a claim get me to no one, just an endless loop of the same menu. I do not have the skills to upload documents on my computer. I now have a packet of 50 pieces of paper that I am mailing to them. All for a reimbursement request of $171.00. I have spent HOURS trying to get to the right people, the right forms,?the right documentation. It is ridiculous!

I would not purchase this policy again based on claim filing experience.
Everything was as it should have been. Thank you.
A smooth operation.
Easy process to get insurance. Easy to adjust as move along with the planning of our trip; could always add more on as needed.
Submitting the claim has been aggravating as their documentation demands are unclear and excessive. Also, they said 15 days to review, then 30, then up to 60, and now 20. It's been over a month and no settlement yet.

Confusing, uninformative emails necessitation phone calls, excessive requirements for documentation, and 6 weeks to process a simple claim for $500. I will not use them again.
There are significantly less costly insurance options and the fact that you can’t cancel this policy prior to your trip for at least a partial refund is extremely disappointing.
Was told by customer service that a member card would be sent to my email. It never arrived. I was planning to file a small claim, but the process was so convoluted that it wasn't worth the time or effort. Probably, that is their plan.
Seats were purchased on two of my flights. One flight was cancelled and insurance stated reimbursement for seat purchase was not covered. 2nd flight my seat was given away without explanation and insurance stated reiwas not covered.
Why have insurance?
Never will use this company again
Surego is reviewing my claim now. After purchasing cruise tickets and getting insurance my wife was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. We didn’t do the cruise and I notified them. My wife passed 2/18/25. Waiting to hear from Surego. Any help or suggestions is welcomed.
Best Regards,

I file my clain over 30 days ago. I only heard from them because I called the claims department. There has been no communication otherwise. They said it could be up to 60 days because they were busy. I kind of feel that is not a reasonable timeline. Especially with no communication. We were unable to go on our 45 day trip due to illness. It is pretty strait forward and should be resolved quickly. I have Dr note stating I was unable to travel. Much of my expences were reimbursed because we canceled before our trip and with my doctors note much was returned immediately. It is only the insurance portion that I am waiting on. Next time I travel I'll probably use a different company.
