We sent our initial claim in 43 days ago and it remains unpaid. This is not acceptable.
The last communication we received was on February 18th when they apologized for the delay. We contacted them yesterday and received the same automated response message of "We are currently experiencing an extremely high volume of claims. Claims are reviewed in order of receipt."
At this point we have already had to pay the credit cards that were used for hotel and additional costs incurred due to the interruption. We didn't anticipate that paying for and having insurance for a trip interruption would be an additional burden placed on us almost two months after returning from our trip.
No response for months after filing a claim. No response from customer service. I will never use them again.

My experience with Trawick International in filing a claim for a damaged suitcase has been poor. I contacted customer service to see if the policy purchased covered damage to a suitcase and was informed it did. I was advised to contact claims and was not able to reach anyone in claims by phone. Recorded information was provided on the claim call for use of the internet to file a claim. I went to the claim web site to file a claim only to have it not send due to the carrier/police report not being filled out. I contacted Trawick Customer service and spoke to Rodney. I informed him about the internet claim form not being able to be sent. I shared with him an on the internet claim form that the damage to the baggage was not noted till arrival back home and how and when the damage occurred is unknown. Multiple modes of transport were used including 2 airlines, Uber and taxi. Rodney understood and advised me to email the internet claim form along with picture of the damaged bag to NWTravClaims@cbinsure.com., which I did. I received a confirmation email from National that they received the claim. A second email has been received from National requesting an itemized claim filed from a carrier is needed. It was clearly stated on the claim Emailed to National that the damage was not noted until arrival back home, multiple carriers were used on the trip an how and were the damage occurred is unknown. I have followed the advice of customer service and feel claims is skirting the baggage damage coverage by asking for something I clearly do not have as the damage was not noted till arrival back home. Will follow up with National regarding this claim.
Filing a claim is very confusing and difficult. Therefore, I haven’t gotten back to it yet.
