Trawick customers appreciate the value for money offered by the policies and the ease of modifying them before a trip. However, some travelers report difficulty reaching customer service, particularly after filing a claim.
No pre-departure contact. During your I was very disappointed with the help or lack of it when I called customer service with my problem (El Al cancelled my flight TLV-VIE 24 February with zero notice). I had to make other arrangements and incurred significant costs. All customer service said was to file my claim within 72 hours…virtually impossible because I lacked information.
Depending on how Trawick handles my claim my view may change.
Very professional experience in explaining and quickly making corrections to document coverage. Far better than a competing carrier we caught out with blanket exclusion that would wipe out its heavily advertised epidemic coverage. And when caught, issuer and agents simply became incommunicado.
Trawick is the real travel protection.

This was my first trip using insurance, primarily medical. Every interaction with Trawick was clear and reassuring. I will use them on every international trip.
Have not received any updates on claim that was filed two weeks ago other than the confirmation email that it was filed. When I check status online it doesn’t show that I filed a claim.

Since Jan 31 I have not received any reimbursement nor did they pay up front. Trawick is a scam. I hear nothing from them.
I did not like the fact that due to covid my wife could not come on the trip and I could not take her off the plan . Then if I was to renue which I haven’t because she would still be on said policy . I plan to travel for the rest of the year I am now shopping around for other insurance providers . If you would have simply helped me with my issue I would have continued with your company.
We were happy to have our policy as it was required for entry into Tahiti. We did not need the policy but contacted COVID after returning from the trip. We had to test prior to boarding the plane so have no idea where it came from.
We had to cancel our trip due to our dog needing surgery and we were not refunded. No where in the sign up did I see that there were no refunds. I went back and reread the sign up info. We were given a credit for future travel. I am disapppointed!
