  • Trawick International policy: Safe Travels Single Trip

    I tried to renew my policy because I planned to stay longer. I could not do this over the phone because they told me I had to do it on-line. I tried, but became frustrated when the program wouldn't work. I finally bought another policy from Squaremouth, but then decided that re-newing the original policy would work better, so I canceled the other policy. I finally was able to renew the Trawick policy. I would suggest that they renew policies over the phone, it would save a lot of time and frustration. I won't use Trawick again.

    Trawick International policy: Safe Travels First Class

    I filed a claim. I could not find a good fax number so I sent my claim by us mail. I finally received notice that they got my claim. However during the period that I could not contact Trawick International I decided to take the The cruise line credit. So I no longer need to file a claim. You can cancel the mailed claim that I sent.

    After signing up for insurance realized there was typo on name/birthdate. Called Squaremouth customer service , was told I needed to contact Trawick directly and provided phone number. Trawick support answered phones quickly, was very helpful, and corrected problem. We did not have any claims associated with trip.

    I’ll never use trawick again! I’ve been trying to file a claim since the trip didn’t happen because of covid for new year’s eve , kept sending emails and calls to file claim. I sent all the paperwork numerous times and now they’re saying I cancelled my policy when i never did! Why would i do that when i was trying to file a claim and they kept sending me emails that my claim would take time because of back up?! Doesn’t make sense and i’m still trying to fix this. Awful experience

    File one claim never heard anything but they were behind with the claims after 15 days. Resubmitted the claim about 15 days ago, no answer yet after about 30 days

    Too slow on the claim. Claims were filed in January 2022 and then another one in February of 2022. Received final claim on decision from Trawick International on March 15, 2022, which it was DENIED. I had submitted all the required claim's docs. Also, submitted my physician's statement that I should not cruise at this time due to health issues and the CDC had provided data that whether you were vaccinated or unvaccinated, you shouldn't be cruising at this time.

    I have been on 20 cruises since 2008 and never had bought Cruise Insurance because I was told that Cruise Insurance is a waste of money. But due to Covid, I bought Cruise Insurance in October of 2021. This confirms that the Travel Insurance is just that, a BIG Waste of money. But I will admit that the Cruise Industry is a mess also and too risky for me to invest in them. No more cruises for me in the future unless it's a free cruise. There's no doubt in my mind that I had a Legit Claim and the Travel Insurance unfairly denied it. I'm done with Travel Insurance & the Cruise Companies. Thank you!
