    Impossible to reach by phone after 8 attempts and hours on hold. Finally responded to an email but didn't answer my questions in the email and was over a day later when I needed answers quickly before I was scheduled to leave.

    I was worried that our claim would be denied because our trip got cancelled due to Covid, but the process was incredibly easy. We submitted our forms and that was it. One month later we had a full refund. We're pleased we bought insurance for this trip as we don't usually buy trip insurance. It saved us thousands of dollars. We will be using this company again!

    Trawick International policy: Safe Travels Voyager

    I am confused that my insurance policy includes compensation for things like interrupted flights, lost luggage, etc, yet I must snail-mail forms to Florida in order to begin the claim process. That takes weeks, which isn't very helpful for someone needing assistance ASAP. I called many times, all times of day and days of week and never got ahold of anyone. The one email I sent to customer service asking for help resulted in a very robotic response that didn't just answer my question.

    We were very impressed with the customer service when we purchased 3 policies which consisted of nine people. We thought the insurance was very affordable. My daughter had to file a claim because 2 people tested positive for Covid, 2 days before our departure. She sent the paperwork a few weeks ago but we have not received a response.

    I mailed in the completed claim form with supporting documentation via US mail on 1/31/2022 and have yet to receive a response other than that they are very busy at this time. It is currently 2/13/2022. Hope to hear from them soon. I realize they are busy due to COVID but I should have at least received some acknowledgement that the claim was received by now.

    I tried calling the domestic customer service line when I wound up stranded in Miami for two nights but they were closed and the voicemail was full so I couldn’t communicate with anyone.

    It’s been a month now since our trip on Crystal was cancelled. Crickets from Trawick. I’ve sent out all the paperwork requested. Can never reach them on the phone, even their emergency line. Terrible customer service! Never again. Their website doesn’t even function. I feel like we’ve been taken for a ride! I know, “Covid”

    Yes, we filed a claim. We were forced to cancel our trip to Egypt from Abu Dhabi due to my testing positive for Covid-19. I was confined to my hotel room for 8 days due to the strict quarantine protocols of the Abu Dhabi emirate. I reached Trawick by phone. Trawick referred us to Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. On January 21, 2022, all the requested documents were sent to Nationwide via email. There was no response from Nationwide, and finally, after several attempts, and being on hold for about 40 minutes, I reached a live person on the customer service help line. The operator said they had received my claim, they were overwhelmed, and said they were processing claims as fast as they could. Since them, I've received several automated "do not reply" emails, saying that eventually someone will contact me. To date, there has been no reach out. Overall, I'd say the customer service has been terrible, frustrating, and maddening. Reviews will be written when this process is complete, and unless things change radically, they will not be pretty.
