Trawick customers appreciate the value for money offered by the policies and the ease of modifying them before a trip. However, some travelers report difficulty reaching customer service, particularly after filing a claim.
Submitting the claim has been aggravating as their documentation demands are unclear and excessive. Also, they said 15 days to review, then 30, then up to 60, and now 20. It's been over a month and no settlement yet.

Confusing, uninformative emails necessitation phone calls, excessive requirements for documentation, and 6 weeks to process a simple claim for $500. I will not use them again.
There are significantly less costly insurance options and the fact that you can’t cancel this policy prior to your trip for at least a partial refund is extremely disappointing.
Was told by customer service that a member card would be sent to my email. It never arrived. I was planning to file a small claim, but the process was so convoluted that it wasn't worth the time or effort. Probably, that is their plan.
Seats were purchased on two of my flights. One flight was cancelled and insurance stated reimbursement for seat purchase was not covered. 2nd flight my seat was given away without explanation and insurance stated reiwas not covered.
Why have insurance?
Never will use this company again
Surego is reviewing my claim now. After purchasing cruise tickets and getting insurance my wife was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. We didn’t do the cruise and I notified them. My wife passed 2/18/25. Waiting to hear from Surego. Any help or suggestions is welcomed.

I file my clain over 30 days ago. I only heard from them because I called the claims department. There has been no communication otherwise. They said it could be up to 60 days because they were busy. I kind of feel that is not a reasonable timeline. Especially with no communication. We were unable to go on our 45 day trip due to illness. It is pretty strait forward and should be resolved quickly. I have Dr note stating I was unable to travel. Much of my expences were reimbursed because we canceled before our trip and with my doctors note much was returned immediately. It is only the insurance portion that I am waiting on. Next time I travel I'll probably use a different company.
Your call center is in India and speaking with a customer representative was quite difficult. All she wanted to do was push us to the website to file claim. website had no claim form accessible. Seemed like no one wished to help us at
All.
I spoke with the agent who was very helpful and gave me another number to make my claim. This number was very helpful and told me the details and sent me an email. The link online for filling was ok but not all of the drop downs related to my issue. I filled out everything and uploaded the files but was then emailed a few days later to provide the files again. I have provided this and am now waiting for the outcome of the claim.
We were unable to submit claim via website or use chat function. Submitted claim via email and have gotten no response in past couple of weeks.
Peace of mind was great. We were concerned about missing our flight and losing vacation time due to an unexpected ice storm but no problem.
