Yes, we filed a claim. We were forced to cancel our trip to Egypt from Abu Dhabi due to my testing positive for Covid-19. I was confined to my hotel room for 8 days due to the strict quarantine protocols of the Abu Dhabi emirate. I reached Trawick by phone. Trawick referred us to Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. On January 21, 2022, all the requested documents were sent to Nationwide via email. There was no response from Nationwide, and finally, after several attempts, and being on hold for about 40 minutes, I reached a live person on the customer service help line. The operator said they had received my claim, they were overwhelmed, and said they were processing claims as fast as they could. Since them, I've received several automated "do not reply" emails, saying that eventually someone will contact me. To date, there has been no reach out. Overall, I'd say the customer service has been terrible, frustrating, and maddening. Reviews will be written when this process is complete, and unless things change radically, they will not be pretty.

I felt comforted knowing I was able to purchase COVID coverage. I over did coverage and now I know for next time. My first experience was a good one.
The survey is difficult to answer. We did not take our trip, cxld before we left. Filed a claim within a few days and as of today (3 weeks from file date) we have not received much/if any info on it.

Total scam. Submitted all required information on the portal. Keep asking for same information already provided. No one answers phones. Already 2 months since filed claims and have heard nothing. Would never purchase from them again.

Tried for 3 days to connect with someone in claims but after hours on hold never got through. Called customer service & got a return call the next day with some help but overall extremely disappointing customer service.

Phyllis from the claims department was so supportive. We had to cancel our trip because we contracted Covid and the whole cancellation and claims process appeared to be daunting. She reassured me that they could handle it, directed me to forms and gave me a claims number, she greatly reduced my anxiety.

This was such an easy experience in such a stressful time. The only thing that could have been maybe a little easier is if the customer service number for Trawick was easier to find and even that wasn't bad- just compared to the rest of the experience.
