It was a little overwhelming to compare different policies. Being in the insurance business myself, I understand the importance of high ratings by rating agencies A.M. Best, Moody's etc.. and I selected Trawick for that and the fact they are underwritten by Nationwide which is a name I recognized. I did call the customer service line before I purchase to confirm some details on the delay of trip feature within the policy. I wanted to know if we couldn't get back into the states because of COVID they would absolutely pay the lodging costs for quarantine. They picked up quickly and answered my question clear and concise. I am glad we purchased the insurance for the "peace of mind" and I am glad we didn't have to make a claim.

“Trawick International policy: Safe Travels ExplorerWe have filed a claim with Nationwide Insurance. We were unable to travel due to covid. Have not received any information that the claim has been processed. We lost $158 dollars on our Frontier flight and all of the flight amount on American.
