The Trawick International Trip Delay Claim was submitted on August 10, 2021, from the CBPConnect website.
We have contacted Nationwide TravClaims a couple of times, but we received automatic replies only. Such as "We received your documents on 10/20/2021, 11/23/2021 and they are currently in line for processing. We are currently experiencing a high volume of claims, please allow additional time for review."

The claim has been made in late October 2021 on www.cbpinsure.com and processed until late February 2022. It was impossible to see the processing status as a lack of claim information online. Contact telephone was responded by message machine only. Just after being contacted by Squaremouth asking to review by Trawick International my claim was reviewed and paid (half of the amount reclaimed) and closed. Thank you.

As you mentioned, the claims call volume is extremely high right now and the claims team is working hard to make sure everyone's claims get processed as quickly as possible. I did not realize until this point that Squaremouth is an umbrella under which there is a group of providers, under which there is an underwriter, and that I would have to claim not with squaremouth, not with trawick international, but with nationwide. Phew! that's complicated, especially when one is ill and 70 years old!!
I'll welcome the chance to report how the actual claim goes as I tackle that substantial amount of effort to complete.

You can never contact them - you can never talk to a human being to make a claim - the website you are directed to doesn't recognize your policy number. This was the first and last time I will ever buy travel insurance.
