I have filed a claim for both my partner and I over a month ago regarding my trip being canceled because of us testing positive for COVID-19. They have just 1 representative to attend the calls, he is nice and helpful but there is not 24 hours of service. Since I present my claim I haven't received any calls or real emails about it, just a computerized answer emails saying that they have a lot of claim I and the waiting times are long. I bought this insurance because their reviews but I start to think that they are fake.
Cancel for any reason coverage was offered at the time I was researching policies, but was not available when I purchased and presented as an additional add-on that was never offered. It was a confusing process. When I contacted customer service regarding this issue, they were empathetic but unwilling to accept the possibility that the website had malfunctioned/misrepresented the available choices presented to me regarding the cancel for any reason coverage, which made this a less than great experience. I would use the site again, though, now that I understand it a bit better.
I have filed a claim as our flight out was cancelled until the next day . we had to get a hotel room and buy food.
