I tested positive for covid in Costa Rica on my pre departure test that I was required to take before leaving Costa Rica to fly back homes. As a result my trip was interrupted and I had to spend a further two weeks in Costa Rica recovering. I have made a claim with Trawick in relation to the additional accommodation costs incurred due to having to spend a further two weeks in Costa Rica recovering from Covid. I await their response from
the Claims Team

I have filed a claim and been trying to contact them for over a week with no response. Their online system also keeps giving error message everytime I am trying to contact them.

We were unable to take the trip as it was cancelled due to Covid

Trawick has been very difficult to contact.

Trip was cancelled due to a positive COVID-19 test. Claim 92373 was filed 1/11/2022.

Overall the experience was great.

We ended up with Covid right before our trip. I attempted to contact customer service via email to figure out how this policy works, as this is my 1st time purchasing any kind of Covid Travel Insurance. I bought this policy for several reasons, having to cancel due to Covid being one of them. I did not ever hear back from customer service. This is concerning considering that in the even we were outside of the US and needed aid, would we be able to get a hold of anyone when we need it most?
