    It's been a hassle to try and get our claims filed. They take forever to answer the phone, claim they are short staffed, and then tell me that our claim is being reviewed and will be determined within 4 weeks. . . it's been 6, the trip we were going to take has come and gone and now I'm wondering if I will ever get the insurance money. Would I ever purchase insurance from Squaremouth or Trawick International again? Absolutely not. Would I ever let friends or family purchase insurance from Squaremouth or Trawick? ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY NOT. Poor customer service and poor communication.

    We have filed a claim (as our flight was canceled and we were unable to get to our cruise). We received an auto email response back that said it would take 15 business days before we here anything. So we are just waiting to hear back and hoping we will receive the payment we should receive.

    It has been over 4 months since my claim was submitted. I have tried emailing multiple times for an update. My online account "does not exist" even though I am logging in with the information provided on the account setup confirmation email. I cannot submit a question online as I get an error that states "your email format is incorrect." I have tried calling on three separate occasions, I am on hold for over an hour each time and I never reach anyone. I've attempted to use multiple avenues to try and get this figured out and none of them are working. My experience has been incredibly frustrating.

    Trawick International policy: Safe Travels International Cost Saver excl US

    The 24 hours assistance from Trawick is just for claims and does not support sales. I had to change the dates of my insurance because of delays in my entry approval to Israel, therefore I had to change the travel date, which implied in cancelling the insurance to redo it after being approved to travel (unknown date at that time). By coincidence, the travel was planned to be on a Sunday, and when I tried to get support on Saturday I had no answer and needed to go to Squaremouth to get support and directions on how to cancel the insurance timely to receive the reimbursement. Other than this issue, everything worked fine.

    I was disappointed in how hard it was to get in touch prior to departure. Phone calls unanswered, and when I asked my question via email the answer came 3 days later, too late for my purposes.
    The confusion (and reason for my question) was the discrepancy between the "insurance card" I received and my actual policy. There were 2 very different policy numbers.
    The country I was visiting wanted my "policy number" for my travelers insurance as a requirement to enter the country. Using 2 different numbers like this is very confusing for travelers. I was grateful that I didn't have to make a claim. At least the emergency contact numbers were the same on both documents.
    It would be great if Trawick could fix this. Why not have the Policy Numbers match on the document and on the insurance card? Or at least provide info to the traveler as to why they are different and which one to use.

    Other than that, my experience with Trawick was satisfactory.

    My first international trip since Covid hit went as planned, and I didn't need to use our supplemental insurance policy, but talking with the customer service rep gave me great peace of mind, and I will use Trawick again.

    Extremely easy to purchase and customer service is excellent and well informed of their policies. I like dealing with the human element of customer service and I'm glad I don't have to wait for an email to get my questions answered. Sometimes to have a peace of mind I need an answer right5 away from a human and that is the best part of doing business with them.
