There was a long delay in determination of our claim, a full two months from when they received the request and all information. I realize this was due to COVID issues and accept the final determination but I think the delay was too long. This would not prevent me from purchasing a policy from Trawick again if it seemed the most cost effective for the trip.
Needed to make a change to extend the coverage by 1 day because it was changed last minute. Due to the timing of the notification of change (Thursday night) and our flight times (Friday morning) we were unable to contact anyone during business hours on the Friday we left. Could not get in touch with anyone except the emergency line once we were out of the country and they could not assist with the request. Sent an email and received no response. There is no one available at Trawick after hours or on weekends to make changes to the policy. I will never, ever use them again.
Customer Service answered questions regarding the policy which enabled me to select one that met our needs. We did not need to file a claim, thankfully, so can’t comment on that aspect.
Claim fully paid, but took a couple of months. Also very old technology - I had to email a word document zip file of my receipts (!!) and no way to check status online
