I submitted claim directly. Have only received automated emails and no direct response. Did receive automated email that they received my claim and will respond within 15 days. Obviously this will determine how I rate the experience.

The policy is not clear on all of the restrictions and requirements. We were told we were not covered at 100% like the policy falsely represents. Our flights for our honeymoon were canceled 4 times due to a Sprit Airlines pilot strike in Florida. The Customer Service was not helpful at all. We were told we had to purchase new flights to Jamacia and they will only cover $500 … seriously!
We can file a claim and be reimbursed.
We missed our all inclusive resort stay for 2 days and had to pay out of pocket for an extra day due to flight cancellations on our return flight. The policy was not worth it.
My experience has been a complete nightmare. Our trip was cancelled by Holland America through our travel Agent due to the COVID. Therefore I have attempted several times, spent literally hours with emails and phone calls just to ultimately be told that my chances of a refund were nil. I was passed from one department to another each time saying that that person could not help me. I spent months trying to get our refund from Squaremouth.
Not only would I never use this company again but I will steer all of my traveling friends away.

I was able to compare pricing easily. I also needed proof of insurance. I was able to email Trawick and they responded via email with proof of insurance.
Good after hours customer service. Unfortunately, my boyfriends mother was admitted to intensive care during our vacation, so we had to leave, but we made the call to see if this was covered and got in touch with the 24 hour after hours Customerservice department and they were very informative and helpful concerning what was covered and what was not.
We just got home from the family situation and intend to make the claim during business hours as directed.
