I filed my claim online, however I could not submit the claim because the online system would not accept my proof documents. After I found a number to call, I was told to submit my documents by email after doing so I tried to submit the claim with my signature, but was unable to do so because it was missing the documents. I called again and spoke to someone on the phone who said they would submit my claim on my behalf. I was asked to submit actual payment proof that I paid for the cruise. All I could give them was my statement showing that I had charged my credit card and that I was actually allowed to take the cruise , which wouldn’t have been possible if I hadn’t paid for it it’s taking a very very long time to get any response. I called again to check on the claim and I was told it would take at least 20 days after they had everything so I’m still waiting to hear from them , it’s only like a $256 claim for my son’s medical expense when he got an ear infection during the cruise so I don’t know what the hold up is.
My experience with Squaremouth is positive. I returned from my trip just a few days ago and have filed a claim due to a stolen suitcase on the train from Amsterdam. The claim process with Trawick is underway, but already I see areas that need improvement. I will be better able to comment on the process when it is complete, hopefully it will be finished and I can respond to your survey in four weeks.

So far, so bad. I filed a claim in mid-November, called Trawick mid-December, was forwarded to SureGo Administrative Services and was then told it was a 30 working-day time period for processing. So I waited until 13 January, called SureGo again, and was told the same thing--the claim was "in process." The person told me he would send a request to Processing and I should receive an email update. It is now the 22nd and I have heard nothing. Perhaps the claim will be handled soon and I will hear from SureGo, but so far, I would not use Trawick again. That opinion may change, depending on the outcome!
We did not need to contact them once on our trip. I did call them once about a question and they answered fairly quickly and helped. Even thought I didn't need to use my travel insurance I would still pick them again due to good customer service (before trip) and price.
Making a claim was easy and the claim was quickly resolved.
I have been back from my trip for 3 weeks and not made my claim yet because I have been waiting to see if more bills come through.
As a first-timer purchasing travel insurance the process was a little overwhelming and there was a lot to learn and get comfortable with. I appreciated locating an affordable policy with good coverage. When all the documents were sent electronically I noticed a misspelling of one of our parties' names, and I called and it was easily corrected on the documents right away. We did not need to file a claim. We did gain peace of mind by having the policy, especially with regard to emergency medical coverage.
Como no domino el idioma ingles, me explico en espanol, mi experiencia de este viaje fue muy buena aunque experimente la ausencia de mi hermana, pues era mi companera de viaje no solo en el avion sino en el barco. Realmente siempre he tenido seguro de viaje aunque en otra compania "Roam Right"", pero debo expresar que uno se siente confiado al saber que si ocurriera cualquier situacion estoy respaldada por una compania aseguradora. Lamentablemente mi hermana Maribel,se le presento una apendicitis y tuvo que ser operada de emergencia, debiendo el doctor al operarle que ponerle un marcapazo provisional para poder realizarle la operacion. Siempre pensamos que por esta razon no era problema que hiciera posible el viaje, al recuperarse de la apendicitis. Dias despues el doctor dice que tenian que sustituirle el marcapazo provisional, ahora por uno fijo pues su corazon no estaba respondiendo correctamente. He aqui la razon por lo cual no pudo viajar ya que el Cardiologo dijo que era muy reciente para hacer un viaje tan largo en avion. Ella se puso muy triste pues realmete la promotora o la idea de este viaje fue de ella. Lamentamos mucho esta circunstancia y el inconveniente que se presento. De igual forma confiamos en la seguridad de que sus ahorros para hacer este viaje, sean repuestos o asegurados por la compania de seguro en la cual confiamos al comprar la aseguranza.

Actually, that office has not contacted me directly, but through SUREGO, which I think is the Agency in charge of. They are asking me for the cancel ticket of the trip, but we never thought it was necessary because until the doctor prohibited my sister from traveling because of the danger it represented, she always wanted to travel because it was her dream for a long time, and she had saved her money to be able to do so.
This situation was very sad for everyone because we are four sisters, and it was also really worrying to leave her behind with a person we had to pay to take care or her.
We have contacted the shipping company (Norwegian) to receive a canceled not only the cruise but also the Airplane, but they have not responded yet.
We hope that all this is resolved in the best possible way and that she receives her compensation, since it is almost $4,000.00 that she needs since Maribel is still undergoing treatment and her age is not in her favor.

We cancelled our cruise trip two months before the travel date because of medical reasons. We have filed a claim with mySurego which is Trawick's claim processing company. The process of filing and getting a physician statement has been long and difficult. The company doesn't seem to believe the contents of our claim. I doubt if we will ever use Trawick again.

The claim review people at Trawick International (Surego) do not read very carefully. We tried to get them to review our claims by sending them a detailed letter explaining what they misinterpreted from the documents we initially included in the claim. They stated their initial finding over again without including any of the information from our appeal letter and documentation.
Easy to sign up for travel insurance. The claim process is a bit convoluted. Seems to take a while to process a claim

The process was way too complicated. This is foreign travel and the documentation requested exceeded what was readily available for a trip to China. I also sent in all the documentation and waited more than 3 months for the claim processer to reply that they needed additional information. This was for a small claim.
A travel insurance company is only as good as the customer service provided and Surego and Trawick failed to provide timely and adequate customer service. It feels like they drag their feet and create additional documentation burdens so clients get frustrated and walk away.
