Yes I gave 5 Stars because it was excellent service, they ask me to send all the documents pertaining to the travel involve I send them, there was the investigation time, less than 20 days, and today in my mail there where the cheks for the full amount that I was force to spend to return home. I used Squaremouth for a previous trip. I reviewed and used other insurances and found Squaremouth to provide the coverage I was looking for—-especially evacuation services. I was also impressed with the reasonable cost.
Only issue was I was wanting to buy three individual plans for three trips I was taking and their program wouldnnot give me that opportunity. I had to wait between orders.

This is actually a preventative setting wherein the credit card company sees these transactions duplicates and does not allow them to go through so that we don’t charge you twice (or more) for the same transaction. We originally booked flights for July, but I broke my right arm and left thumb and was not allowed to fly. I called your 24 hour assistance and spoke to someone who I think was called Omar and asked him about filing a claim, his response was to apply online and it would be put to the review board and I would know in "about 10 days if they will pay or not" - what is the point of insurance if you cannot claim for broken bones and every airline forbids anyone in a new cast to fly for fear of blood clots! Perhaps Omar was new and not properly trained, or just could not be bothered! I did not want to lose the fare cost and so instead I called during day hours the next day and moved our flight coverage to September (your agent Connor Chapman was super helpful). Unfortunately we both came down with the influenza bug doing the rounds at present and with temperatures of 101.3 and 102.7 did not think it was a good idea to fly. So we cancelled the flights as we did not want to pay another $400 to change them, and we had to use the tickets up before January 2020. Flying out of Northern Maine in November through March is tricky as we get so much snow and so many flights are cancelled, so we decided to just let the tickets go. I know we could claim, but by the time both of us had gone to the doctors and got letters it would have cost even more money, we tried to see her on the Friday we were supposed to fly, but were told to go the ER as the doctor was not able to give us appointments...ER visits here cost $1,500 each before you even received treatment, so to spend over $3k would have been stupid! We stayed home in bed, drank plenty of fluids and took Tylenol. I cannot fairly give you our opinion as the experience with Omar made me doubt we would ever be paid out, you may have done so, but I had no confidence that you would.
Customer service rep Darryl was outstanding in helping me when my travel dates changed at the last minute. His assistance will most certainly make my first choice for insurance Trawick.

After purchasing the insurance I didn't have any need to contact anyone. I don't know how their claim service is , because I had no claim to be submitted. I cannot respond on that part.
Frankly, we do not usually purchase travel insurance unless it is required by a tour company. I purchased three policies through Squaremouth and have found the online process to be simple , easily understood and straightforward. Prior to our last trip, I needed some additional information just prior to departure and my call to the 24 hour assistance line (on a weekend) was answered immediately, the representative was pleasant and professional and the requested information was emailed to me within about 10 minutes. Very impressed.
