A pleasant experience. When I took out the insurance I gave a 2nd visiting place incorrectly. It was quickly resolved.

We filed a claim, due to my husband's critical heart issues. His cardiologist "prohibited " travel. We have not heard anything, as yet, about our claim. It was, however, filed less than 2 weeks ago. Our travel agent, Travel with Alan, in Lynwood, WA, was extremely helpful with this claim.

On August 24th my wife fell and had a complicated pelvic and hip fracture. She was operated on August 29, was in rehab for 14 days and is still confined into a wheelchair. We had to cancel our cruise and filed a claim with Trawick International. We received the claim forms on the internet and filled them out. On page 2 they have a large section to be filled out by the attending physician. We are with Kaiser Permanente, which has a large presence in our area. They are almost like the government. My wife did not have just one attending physician, she had two surgeons and several other doctors seeing her.

We had a letter from Kaiser and also from the rehab that she is unable to travel, but Trawick insisted on having that section filled out by the attending physician. I took me a while to find the right department for this and we waited about three weeks to get the form back. We mailed all of this plus copies of the visa statements of the travel expenses to Trawick on Tuesday September 10th and have not heard back from them.

We hd to cancel our trip due to the sudden and unexpected illness of my mother-in-law. I contacted Trawick and filed a claim in July. I sent all the requested info whick wasa considerable amount. I did not hear from them in weeks. Finally I was ocntacted by email asking for additional info which I sent. then I got another email asking for the sam info again. When I contacted them by phone they said thdy had the info and the email was a mistake. I am still waiting for them to settle our claim.

The ease with I was able to get complete information during my purchase helped me choose the right policy for
my needs. The agent was patient and informative. I would definitely use them again.

An insurance claim for our trip cancellation due to health reasons has not been submitted yet. My husband's physician who needs to sign a supporting document has not done so yet because of his absents due to vacation .

Claim was handled swiftly through Trawick. Cost of the policy was very reasonable.
