I did file a claim (mailed in on 3/16/19) , I still have not heard ONE thing from the company. I called the claims dept. a week ago , and all I got was : 1) they did get it , and 2) it is being reviewed. I didn't even get an e-mail or call from them. VERY DISAPPOINTED

They settled the claim in my favor -- NO PROBLEMS -- Although , there was not good communication from them along the way. I had to cal them 2-3 times to try to find out what stage of the process it was in. THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN , I GOT THE CHECK IN THE MAIL. Would use the company again if I had the chance.
Unfortunately I had to cancel my trip due to medical issues. I submitted my claim and within 3 weeks I was advised that my claim was approved.
I have explained this to Jorge (?) by phone Mar 30 after I received an email from Squaremouth as a followup survey.. To minimize description of my experience, I have been working on getting my claims processed for a long time. I had given up the whole thing as loss of all claims, fee paid ($110), etc. They told me there was nothing in the system, they received none of my queries or responses to them by Virtr (sp) which they said I had to use, and then.just ignored the many attempts I made to correspond, send info, etc.
Jorge was very helpful to me and made me believe I could have my claims looked at and processed. He said I should have just contacted Squaremouth, and not Trawick. At the time I was making contacts with you, this is what information I had (attached). Trawick gave me a member number and told me to call GBG Assist. They replied that they would forward the claims to be processed. After many emails and contacts, they told me they could find no claims in the system and they gave no further communication (after weeks of many attempts on my part). I was routed through their Customer Support, etc. but to no avail.
As directed by Jorge, I am now going to send my claims to Squaremouth on Monday when I can contact Claims Filing.. I do hope there will be some response and this can be resolved.

I have two issues with my Trawick claim. # 1 Currently I am waiting for 1 item to be resolved. Everything else was handled perfectly and with courtesy and willingness to help me. I have sent clarification for the remaining item and expect it to be the same. This was a tremendous relief for me. I thank Squaremouth for bringing this about.
#2 When I started the process I spent about a month trying to get someone to help me from Trawick. To start: I called Trawick and asked how to start the claim procedure. The total instruction was just call and give your name and number to CBG (GBG?) Assist. CBG said just send your policy number and your claim. The rest of the time was a nightmare trying to communicate with someone (with the secure email feature), their sending me to someone else repeatedly, their not receiving my emails, etc. Finally, they just said I was not in the system anywhere and there was nothing they could do. This took most of a month. I had given up on collecting anything from my policy. Then sometime later, I received a call from Squaremouth asking about my trip. He listened to me, told me what to do and how to do it. And he told me about the Squaremouth guarantee, which proved to live up to its name. I can't thank SQ enough for the service, courtesy to me, and following up on their promise. I have received help all along the way with them.

Pearl, it was brought to my attention that you filed the claim to the wrong insurance company. You were calling GBG in California to get status on a claim that should have been sent to Coordinated Benefit Plans in Florida. The address for claims is on your ID Card as well as your policy certificate. We have a note that you called our office and talked to the customer service rep who helped you figure out the correct mailing address. The notes say the claim was sent to the correct insurance company on 3/26/19. Please allow ample time for them to process the claim. They respond within 15 working days from receipt of the claim.
Deciding which policy to purchase was easy and the actual purchase equally easy. As we are an elderly couple, it is always reassuring to be insured against the unforeseen. Fortunately, we stayed healthy, enjoyed the trip and did not need to file a claim.
I filed a claim yesterday due to trip interruption. I am not certain how this claim will be handled, therefore, can't give adequate feedback until I get a response from the carrier,
I didn't have to make a claim so I can't really say how good the insurance was, but it was easy and affordable to purchase.
I am still waiting to hear back from my claim, getting very disappointed with this company. Their customer service is only available business hours.
I contacted Trawick customer service twice to increase my coverage prior to my trip. They were very helpful and responded promptly.
I have used the Square Mouth website on multiple occasions and the ease of obtaining reliable travel insurance options has made my travels much less stressful. My interactions with Trawick went smoothly from start to finish as has been my experiences with all of the policies I have obtained through the Square Mouth web site. I automatically go to this site as soon as I make my original booking, to insure pre existing medical is covered, and then contact the insurer to increase coverage as my non refundable amount increases the closer I get to my travel date. I would recommend both Square Mouth and Trawick to other travelers.
Just mailed claim yesterday, so my ratings above were forced. I'll be better prepared to comment after my claim has been processed.
I arrived Fresno, California to visit my sister and I felt dizzy and left arm and hand numb when I just arrived. I thought it might be because of the long tired trip. However, the numbness was still there and I still had a headache after about a week. My sister family took me to the emergency of ST Agnes Med Center. I stayed there almost whole day and then they let me go home for observation and suggested me to have an appointment with a neurologist. I gave the insurance information and policy copy to the hospital. And then, I got a bill from a bill collection agency. We asked the Trawick International which hospitals or doctors we can go in Fresno before we go the emergency. The service rep. let us check by myself. They didn't give any necessary assistance. Now, I was in China. I have no idea who would be responsible for the case.
Huazhu, I am sorry that you got ill will traveling. I looked for a claim for you from any provider and have not found anything in the database. It sounds like the provider did not send your claim to be processed or perhaps mailed it to the wrong address. I suggest you contact the provider and ask them to send the claim to the insurance company or pay the provider your self and then submit a claim for reimbursement using the claim form found on our website under the resources tab. Once the claim has been received it will be reviewed for benefits and processed. Please contact customerservice@gbg.com for questions once you filed a claim.
