No issues.
A passenger was medivact by helicopter on our way home from Hawaii. It was exactly the reason we purchased insurance as that could have been one of us.
My friend got very sick before the trip and couldn't go. She was in the hospital in another country. Trawick needed extra information from her doctor in that country that I could not get. I could only get some of the information because it was in another country. Trawick gave me almost all of my money back. I was shocked!!! They were very kind to give me almost all of it back. What a nice surprise!
Spoke to a employee prior to our departure and unfortunately, after she asked me twice how to spell my wife's name and I spelled it out for her and when the policy was issued...her name was spelled incorrectly! My wife's name is Gracia NOT DRACHA! Really, after two times spelling her name with the phonetic alphabet. I was not impressed with this and I doubt we will ever seek this insurance again? Had we had a real emergency, this document with the incorrect spelling may have caused problems in any of the areas covered? Otherwise, we are thankful we did not have to file a claim.

My experience has not been satisfactory. I sent in my claim in late August and yet, at the end of October, the claim has not been resolved.
Review Updated: 11/23/2018
The claim resolution process was prolonged. Initially I was directed to the wrong claimant form to send the claim to. Once I discovered the error it was another 6 weeks for resolution. As opposed to my claim process with another company for the flight which took 48 hours to resolve.
The trip my Mom and I planned to take to NY had to be cancelled because my doctor forbid me to travel. The insurance was bought the day I ended up in the ER and the next day my doctor told me not to go on the trip. He signed the papers the following week. I have not filed the claim as of yet because 1) I was quite ill for two weeks and 2) I was told that it was possible that the insurance would not be honored because it was bought the day I ended up in the ER but symptoms started a few days before. We were just not aware of how serious the problem was going to become. I am still under the doctor's care for the problems. I am not sure what to do in this case.
I found them to be very helpful and friendly.
Duplicate purchase was refunded within one day with no hassle whatsoever. Customer service was prompt, friendly, and courteous.
Trawick never provided an explanation for how to proceed with my claim based on a 9 hour travel delay. It took me several phone calls to get to an agent who told me that his computer system was down. He did however explain what would be required to file a claim to get up to $100 for the delay. He also explained that the fine print in the contract provides that I would have to establish expenses related to the delay to be eligible for payment.
I am waiting for someone to acknowledge my 2nd claim.
