I've been purchasing travel insurance packages through SquareMouth for several years. The website has been easy to read and navigate. The staff has always conducted in a professional manner over the phone and always were ready to answer my questions. I purchased the travel insurances for those "unexpected situations." Fortunately, I've been happy not needing to use them!

I submitted my claim back in November of 2017. I have contacted GBG aka Trawick multiple times regarding my claim. They have yet to process my claim completely, and it is now February 2018. The representatives I speak to are very nice but aren't the ones doing any of the processing. All they can do is ask me to give them my claim documents again via email and forward emails to the claims/customer service department and request that the claim be processed. However, it's a black box after that. Every time they contact me they tell me that they will get back to me in 7-10 business days. But every time they do contact me, it's to tell me that my claim is being processed. How many times do I have to email them my claim and how long does it take to process a claim??? I am very frustrated and annoyed with this Trawick/GBG.
My claim was delivered 2/3/2018. So far there has been no response.

Once it was figured out, a new claim was received at the correct address on 3/16/18. That claim was missing some information but the examiner reached out to your tour operator for more information and the claim was processed for payment on 4/19/18. My father was very sick and I was concerned that I would have to cancel my vacation last minute. He passed away a week after I purchased the policy and I had to travel to be with him before he passed, but I was able to return in time to take the trip. It was a short two day trip, but it gave me time to reflect on what had happened and to be with my friends. They helped me to grieve in a beautiful location, so I was happy that I did not have to cancel the trip. You never know what is going to happen, and this Trawick International policy gave me piece of mind when I needed it the most. I have come to depend on SquareMouth for all my travel insurance needs, but in this particular case you have really outdone yourself. You took the time to find the exact policy I needed for this situation and I sincerely appreciate it. The only concern was you website offered coverage for sports like skiing but when I went to book it the site would not allow the purchase
In the end we did not ski but I was disappointed by the false advertising
Other than that the value of the policy and coverage was very good
Due to a death in the family on the day the trip was to take place, the trip was cancelled.
The airline tickets were refunded, there was no need to file a claim.
