Trawick utilizes a third party processor. We filed a claim 2 months ago. They promised us a 15 day turnaround. It took weeks before they contacted us regarding our claims. At that time they buried us with requests for additional information. Our claim is extremely straightforward. Our flight was canceled (easily proven), and our luggage never met up with us on the trip. And was returned to our home 10 days after our trip was completed (again we have submitted proof).
Our claim has for some strange reason been denied. First the paperwork they send with the policy you buy has incorrect phone numbers on it. I was transferred around several times and hung up on and then given a completely diff number to call than is provided on the paperwork to file a claim.............. Then they sent me to a poor functioning website with a completely different name than Trawick so it is really confusing. I spent hours uploading stuff they asked for and they promised it would be done in a few weeks................ It is one month later and I've heard nothing. I looked at the emails they sent regarding the claim and call and no one picks up. They say there are links in the email to monitor your case progress and there are not. My case was very easy and clean and cheap. To be honest I got physically hurt on this trip and could have asked for 10000 dollars for my injury but chose to not. Looking back I wish I did but they likely would not have reimbursed me for that either My case was a simple documented case of a stolen bag and lock with value of 80 US dollars and Trawick decided to cheat me. Scam artists.

I recently traveled to Thailand on September 4, 2024. I suffered food poisoning on 9/9/24 of my trip I was seen at a local hospital in Pattaya and treated for my illness. I presented the insurance paperwork to hospital officials and they said the insurance is not accepted by their hospital.
I paid the cost for the treatment which was 349.00 dollars. When I returned from Thailand I submitted the bill to the insurance carrier, the carrier proceeded to ask me for a picture of my passport and a copy of my itinerary for the trip.
I have submitted both and I am still waiting for their decision as to if they are going to reimburse me . It was very difficult to reach customer service by phone. Terrible service.

I filed a claim with Trawick International on 10/11/2024 right after i got home from my tour. I sent all the documentation to proof cancellation and cost difference. Today is 03/27/2025. Nobody even contacted me during those 6 months! I keep calling their claim department and they keep saying to call back in a month... in a week... etc. What a shame!!! Very disapointed with their service!!!

Makes no sense that you purchase insurance to cover your vacation being interrupted or canceled due to hurricanes and when one hits and shuts down your destination ports the claim is denied because you happen to be on the ship and at least some services were provided.
