    I am guessing that 5 stars is the highest rating. I would give them 10 if it was available. Everything happened very seamlessly. I have used Squaremouth in the past and will continue to use them. Trawick was new to me but they were excellent. No issues, easy peasy. Thanks so very much! I highly recommend them both!

    From the outset, there was quite a delay shifting from squaremouth to another party, and finally landing with a third party.

    There may be cultural differences at work, so excuse my ignorance of your customs. The baggage that was destroyed by American Airlines was a gift from my husband.

    Typically, in the states, we do not as for receipts when receiving gifts from our spouse. The third party demanded a receipt and informed me the burden of proof was entirely mine.

    The fact that this luggage was transported, traceable, and usable from IND to RDU to FFT, to SOF and made it the entire journey until CLT to IND was completely inconsequential to the third party.

    To my knowledge, American Airlines, the perpetrator of the permanent damage was never contacted, despite detailed tracking information before and after the damage and repair request.

    I was also instructed to go to a shoe repair shop or luggage store for damage assessment. This is one reason American Airlines no longer offers baggage repair. These services no longer exist in our area.

    Customer service is not the strong suit of squaremouth.

    Claim has been filed on July20 2025. Today is September 27 2025 , claim has not been resolved and no additional requests have been made by ins, co. I was told on the phone that it will take 60 business days to consider claim. Do they really believe that it will be possible to get any additional info (if it needed) after 3 month? or it just tactics not to pay it.

    I was diagnosed with lung cancer weeks before this trip. My doctors reccommended not to go, whic broke my heart and begin treatment immediately. Trawick was excellent. I provided all the required documents to cancel for medical reasons and they refunded the insured amount very quickly with no issue. I hope to replan a version of this trip in a year as long as my doctor says OK and I would use this insurance company for every and any future trips.

    They were not helpful in filing the claim . They were vague and the computer would not acknowledge me and they refused to help, just told me to do it the old fashion way. I called twice found a more friendly and helpful person and got a partial submission made so I could have record that I was making the claim. I am now waiting on medical bills from the hospital and will then complete the paperwork.

    We were unable to go on our trip due to illness. We did file a claim and submitted all documents requested. We have not heard any update on our claim. We have been in contact with Surego. So far we rated low, due to lack of communication.

    I lost our policy info but was able to trace that we had insured with Trawick. Customer service took care of the rest and resent our policy information to us. Very helpful.
