Trawick customers appreciate the value for money offered by the policies and the ease of modifying them before a trip. However, some travelers report difficulty reaching customer service, particularly after filing a claim.
I asked to cancel my insurance because the trip was cancelled several months before the scheduled departure. I have communicated 3 times and have been denied the refund of my premium of any amount. I would certainly understand a $50.00 handling fee but would certainly believe a refund of the rest would be most fair.

The requirement to still buy daily CDW from the rental car agency was not clear in the information provided BEFORE I purchased the coverage -- only in the small print afterwards. And to find it out while we were picking up the car was an unpleasant surprise.
The rental car agency had no idea who you were, and they said their CDW covered what you claimed wouldn't be (windshield repair, etc.) They said I was basically duplicating coverage.
In the future, I'd just buy the extra coverage through the rental car agency. It seemed more up front.

They were helpful and friendly and followed up with an email confirming what we discussed.
I didn’t really get any pre-trip instructions so I don’t know what that question meant.
Trawick quickly connected me to On Call International when I fell fracturing my left femur. However the processes of On Call are inefficient, result in multiple delays and do not prioritize ensuring the best health outcomes for the patient (client). The communication between On Call and Trawick is inconsistent and inefficient which adds to the delays and barriers to the best health outcomes for the patient (client). The summary of the coverage purchased and the actual coverage provided are very different. I still need to full review my policy and submit my claims to Trawick. So more to come. Based on my experience I would not recommend Trawick travel insurance.
