Purchased primary medical insurance only for a short trip to Aruba. My mother got sick (sun poisoning/dehydration) the day before we were supposed to leave. We went to see a local doctor for $125 cash. Filed the claim when we returned and received payment within 3 weeks.

My main issue with my interaction with my travel insurance was the multiple different answers I received about making ga claim. It was hard to find out who actually to talk to about my claim. different 800 numbers sent me to different companies. Still not sure I have it all resolved.

Essentially the unending series of delays ruined my trip and I never went.
