I was diagnosed with lung cancer weeks before this trip. My doctors reccommended not to go, whic broke my heart and begin treatment immediately. Trawick was excellent. I provided all the required documents to cancel for medical reasons and they refunded the insured amount very quickly with no issue. I hope to replan a version of this trip in a year as long as my doctor says OK and I would use this insurance company for every and any future trips.

They were not helpful in filing the claim . They were vague and the computer would not acknowledge me and they refused to help, just told me to do it the old fashion way. I called twice found a more friendly and helpful person and got a partial submission made so I could have record that I was making the claim. I am now waiting on medical bills from the hospital and will then complete the paperwork.

We were unable to go on our trip due to illness. We did file a claim and submitted all documents requested. We have not heard any update on our claim. We have been in contact with Surego. So far we rated low, due to lack of communication.

I lost our policy info but was able to trace that we had insured with Trawick. Customer service took care of the rest and resent our policy information to us. Very helpful.

Trawick was responsive and prompt but the company’s partner Surego was totally unresponsive to multiple queries as to the status of our claim. I would reconsider signing again with Trawick because of Surego.

My claim was paid in full. The process, however, was not easy due to the portal they use for gathering the materials they want. The online system is difficult to use and not clear. Once submitted, there was no interaction other than acknowledgement that information was received. I finally called them. The person I spoke with was polite and helpful but had to refer me back to the online system. My impression is that they do NOT want to talk to the customer but rather interact at arms length and beyond. I'm glad the claim was paid...it should have been...however, I may select another carrier the next trip.

I do not recall my specific Interactions with Trawick before the trip occurred so I gave it a #3.

Overall, I was very pleased with the personnel at Square Mouth and grateful that I didn't need to use the insurance!

I had used Trawick in the past for travel that I eventually needed to submit a claim for. I had a very positive experience then and chose Trawick for my most recent trip knowing that I had the coverage that I needed backed up by excellent customer service.
