do to Covid and personal circumstance I was compelled to postpone this trip. I was able to defer the insurance start date on one occasion but not subsequently. Although this trip has been rescheduled to April 2024, the insurance coverage has been lost. Basically, I paid for coverage for a nonexistent trip
I submitted a claim on 4/13 and I have not heard back from them. I sent an email requesting an update three days ago and have still not heard from anyone. I’m not happy

The claim form was difficult to use, and only allowed one page per topic. I needed to send more than one page. My claim was paid in full, for which I am very happy. But the communication was poor. The company did not respond to my inquiry about my claim in a timely manner.

We had an incident where we were contact by our ticket (flight) agency inquiring if we cancelled our return flight. We had NOT and that caused a day of trying to figure out how we would get home. We were very concerned because the airline told us they could get us a ticket for one person, one way at a cost we couldn't possibly pay, so we called Trawick to see if there was any coverage for this type of issue but it didn't seem to fit into any of the categories. Luckily the ticket agency was able to get us another ticket for the planned flight, but it was 15 hours of phone calls and stress during our trip.
Customer service looked up pickleball as it was not included in the fine print. The representative made sure that someone else was aware that this was our inquiry. He asked all the right questions to Trawick. Pickleball is the fasting growing sport in North America and should be included in policy wording. This rep. expressed that he would take this suggestion forward.
It was nice to talk to a real person who seemed to care about our concern.

Filed claim with Coordinated Benefit Plans LLC as instructed on April 8 so it will be 3 weeks on Saturday. They sent an automated email response. No news since.
Had to cancel trip due to husband's death. Had some difficulty getting through the automated phone system. Once able to talk with live person, I was sent the necessary paperwork to complete for Nationwide-who was very prompt in paying claim.
This is my second time purchasing this insurance and the first time submitting a claim. I am happy with the way they handled and will be choosing again in the future for my next trip.
