We were caught in the Southwest cancelling issue on the way to a cruise. Called the line for help with options. Was no help at all. Could not tell us our options, could not tell us what would be covered, told is to try a book a flight to meet the cruise at the next port. As the tickets to meet in the next port cost more than the entire cruise, I asked if they would be covered. She said “maybe”. Not helpful. Still waiting to see if our claim is approved.

We will file a claim-
We were supposed to leave Manila, Philippines to Incheon, Korea via Korean Air on Jan 1st at 12:30 p.m. but our flight was sooo delayed - we left Manila after 6 p.m. Jan 1st- and did not make it to our connecting flight in Incheon.
Called Trawick on Dec 23 to initiate the claim, but the claims department was “off preparing for the holidays”
The gentleman I spoke with on the phone when I called spoke really really slowly. It almost sounded like an automation. I was caught up in all of the Southwest Airlines frustration, so I intend to file a claim if they are unable to help me.
Had to make a small change to our travel dates due to my error when purchasing the insurance. Customer service was quick and pleasant and made the changes immediately.
Trawick accepted my policy without first asking if I were a dual citizen. As an American and Canadian, I did not qualify. Luckily I figured out the problem before departure. Trawick refunded all but $3-4 of my premium.
I have been ghosted by this insurance company. I filed a claim back in early October and received two requests for receipts , which I have provided and I haven't heard back from them. I am very disappointed in their service. I filed immediately upon return, provided all receipts and yet to hear back from them. I just get notices that they are too busy.
Purchasing the insurance was great. The person we spoke to was very knowledgeable and helpful. She answered all of our questions and if she did not know something, she researched it for us.
When we had problems with our flight, I immediately contacted the company. That agent was not helpful. To be fair, she said it was December 23rd and they were running on a shortened staff. However, I was displeased because I needed information on what was covered and who I got letters from etc.... This lack of information could have costed us reimbursement. She said she would have a supervisor call me back within an hour. Nobody EVER called me back.
We filed a claim on January 27th and sent everything in. I was told we will hear back by January 27th.
Applied for the insurance and never received confirmation, but was told we had coverage when I called the day of our trip. Then discovered we did not have coverage and had to reapply the day of our trip.

I received an email saying they received my claim, however I was never contacted by anyone. I never received a further email. And when logging in to check status at cbpconnect.com it is as if there were never any claims submitted. I am not at all pleased with any communication that I have had with them when our trip was interrupted and they offered the wrong advice on what to do concerning issues we had with our trip
