Not a simple process to file a claim. Filed through Nationwide as directed but that seemed counter intuitive when Trawick was our insurer.

filing the claim was confusing; limited the documents i could give, etc. i'm now waiting to hear back. i have ample additional proof; believe me, the last thing we wanted to do was make a claim but we both got covid and had no choice -- we couldn't go on the cruise. anyway, so far, i have found the various names/agents confusing, the paperwork confusing although i have receipts, cancellation invoice, doctor's reports, etc. but there was no space for more than one person but both my wife and i are covered in our policy but i could only submit paperwork about my covid and not my wife's. we'll see if my opinion changes when i hear back -- hopefully in a timely fashion.

My experience at this time is very good. Initially after I submitted the claim I did not get any updates on cbpconnect.com.
Later I god an email stating that they have many claims and I have to wait.
After that I had no news, but I received unexpectedly the checks in the mail.
Now I am happy.

Took a while to process the claim but effective once the process started.
I added additional days of travel several months after purchasing my policy. The customer service team was very helpful in updating the policy to cover the additional days. Even better, in my case the additional days were covered with no increase in the premium.
No real issues so far. I opened a claim due to COVID while traveling overseas. I will be filing necessary forms shortly.
