No, unfortunately, having your visa denied is not a covered reason for trip cancellation.  You may want to consider travel insurance which includes a “cancel for any reason” option.  The cancel for any reason benefits are generally reduced to approximately 50% - 75% depending on the policy and you must cancel 2 days or more prior to your scheduled departure.  Refer to the policy wording for other conditions which may apply.
