IMG customers have noted that the customer service is attentive both before and during their trips, especially when they need to modify their policies. The agent who assisted me in selecting the appropriate amount of insurance was very helpful and explained the difference in coverage very clearly. there was no pressure in rushing me to decide what amount i thought was needed.

We filed a claim due to my husbands medical illness. Because we did not get the letter from his Dr., which was beyond our control as to when the DR. got around to the letter. Our Claim was denied twice. I filed an appeal and explained the date of the Dr.'s letter was beyond our control. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone. We bought this policy in good faith that any medical issues would be covered. Especially, as they advertise they are a Medical insurance company.
They have gone out of their way to get our of paying us reimbursement of $8900.00 we paid on this trip. We are senior citizen's and this was a large part of our savings account.
They are not a reasonable, reputable Company...

We used the IMG website (customer service) to download & print some documents prior to our trip, in case we needed proof of medical coverage while away. Never used it, but the coverage provided peace of mind. Also, a major storm in the Northeast US could’ve impacted our return trip home. It didn’t (thankfully) but again it was nice to know we had some coverage options if our flight was cancelled and we needed to extend our stay.
The gentlemen was very helpful, put me at ease. Explain the process to me. Presently I am getting the receipts together.
So far so good. Claim has been filed but I don't know how IMG will respond.
I filed Trip Cancellation claim with all required supporting documents - I am a retired engineer. The claim was promptly reviewed and agreed with my position and reimbursement.
Much better than Allianz who cover airline flight only - same approach but they delayed, delayed, delayed (3 x 15 Business Days!) before agreeing with my value.
