i had to cancel my trip due to emergency surgery. it was so easy to file a claim with IMG and i got a refund within a week. We rebooked our trip and i bought IMG insurance again. You hope never to have a claim but IMG was great.

I have purchased several policies through SquareMouth. I have always found there online sight easy to navigate. The prices are very competitive and each customer service rep I've spoken to has been friendly and helpful.

I was surprised at the large increase in premium when I added some travel cost after the policy written. PUrchasers s/b encouraged to submit the full cost when buying, to get the most competitive overall rate.

Also, you could give general guidance to buyers, like how long before travel or first payment is the best time to buy for the most competitive price.

Initial contact after the accident was hugely disappointing and ineffective. Subsequent interactions were more reassuring but produced no results or assurances. IMG seemed very fragmented and ineffective working with the hospital. Multiple IMG departments seemed unable to communicate or work with each other. I have received no communication with IMG after initial claim filing. I ended up paying all the bills myself and am waiting for reimbursement.
