  • Aegis policy: Go Ready Pandemic Plus

    I did file a claim. It was a bit wearisome. I didn't have the right document from Quantas (who lost my luggage) so that took awhile. Finally the insurance company accepted my documents. It took about two weeks to be reimbursed.

    Our luggage was delayed on the inbound flight for 3 days in San Diego. I phoned the emergency hotline and was instructed what to do. I found the claims form a little confusing but did my best. Our claim number is 749788

    They emailed the claim form the day we called. We send in the requested papers they needed and 15 days later they approved the claim.

    I contacted Aegis in reference to a damaged luggage claim and it has been a complete run-around and they do NOT take responsibilty. They want me to contact the Airline for them to resolve the issue.

    I fell and fractured my pelvis in August and had to cancel my trip. Aegis was easy to work with, they sent a claim via email to fill out and then file. I filled out my portion, had the doctor fill out his and filed the claim with Aegis. Within weeks they had responded in the affirmative and ok'd my claim.

    I two different messages about the type of evidence they required. One customer rep said they just needed a letter from the ***. Another said we needed the *** to sign their form. We spent many hours and had to visit our primary care physician twice to complete it. I also wish the company had a way to fill out the paperwork online.
