I spent about $4,000 for two trips. 1 was for 18 days in Greece and the other was for 2 month in Florida. They were happy to take my money. My only claim was for $200 Drs. visit on the cruise. That was last October. I have contacted multiple times, filled out all paperwork required. I just confirmed another trip for 2 months but I will not use your company again.Do not use this company.

Following receipt of this review, we were able to speak with the claims adjuster to get this case approved and paid. The adjuster apologized for the oversight.

Due to problems like this one that the insured experienced, we are no longer working with this claims processing company on any new policies that we sell. We assure Mrs. Fracasse and all other travelers of a greatly improved claims experience which we’ve already seen since we launch at the start of the new year. Average claims are processed & paid within approximately 1 week of receiving the necessary documentation from the insured. For in-transit claims that qualify, our Stress Less service still has the capability of instant payment thus removing the claims process altogether.

I'm glad we didn't have to submit a claim, but GoReady seemed like a great company to work with from my one interaction with them before our trip. I would consider using them again! Thanks!

I am happy to not have had to report a claim. However, I am fully confidant, based on the ease of purchase and response from customer service, that it would have been handled to my satisfaction.

Thank you for providing a great policy at a reasonable price for 70+ travelers. Had all the benefits needed for our Antarctica trip and the ease with updating the coverage dates due to the trip schedule changes helped a lot to set our minds at ease.

I mailed all the documents requested about a month ago. We were unable to go on the trip. I have not heard anything from GoReady, or Zurich insurance.

Because of sudden illness I had to re-book my departure flight by one day and had a pay $1068.20 change fee.

While still at home, I called the customer service number and their office was closed. When I reached the number the next day, initially the person -Marilyn- told me that, as I had not left home yet, I did not qualify for ANY coverage. Only after I complained, she actually looked at my policy and checked with a supervisor and then said, yes, I could submit a claim. I submitted the two airfare bookings plus the doctor's note.

While I was traveling I received the claim form (for non-medical cause) plus a request for 7 more documents, all of which had absolutely nothing to do with my claim for "trip delay or airline ticket change fee".

On 3/10/2023, when I arrived back home, I called their customer service again to find out which documents I actually still had to submit. The agent told me that she would let "Markus" know and that he would call me by 3/14. Fortunately I requested his phone number from her.

I did not receive a phone call from Markus and therefore called on 3/16/23 and left a message for him to call me as I wanted to verify which documents I still needed to submit.
I called him again on 3/17/23 and finally reached him. Of course, many of the documents they initially requested were not needed at all.

I am not impressed by their customer service or response time.

In February 2023 I paid for another travel insurance with GoReady for a trip coming up in November 2023 and am sorry I did. I would not choose this company again.

It was a very tedious process to get my claim handled, but at long last GoReady Insurance came through.

On the initial call to them I was told that my claim was not covered. Only after complaining, did the person actually look at my policy and said, oh yes - I could file a claim.
I was sent an email requesting a list of documents that had absolutely nothing to do with my claim. It then took me a week of getting a hold of the claim adjuster on the phone to clarify what documents were actually needed.

But, after all this, the company honored my claim and I did receive a check.

    Response from Aegis

We’re sorry to hear that Christiane was unhappy with the service she received. Full payment for her claim was issued yesterday in the month following it being opened. Our office does not have anyone named Marilyn working here, so we can only assume that individual works for our 24/7 emergency assistance provider. Their main role is to provide medical assistance as opposed to interpreting coverage. Questions related to coverage are best answered by our office during regular business hours.

We are confident that you’ll find a better experience moving forward for your upcoming trip in November as in 2023 we have implemented significant upgrades in both areas of claims processing and 24/7 emergency assistance.

We’re not sure if Cynthia is confusing us with a different company. We only received one communication from her which came by email a 1:30 am ET. To ensure we understood the changes she wanted, we called & spoke with her within a few hours of opening that next morning. We updated her policy & emailed her a new confirmation while she was on the phone with us. Our records show no other emails or calls being received by her.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. First of all they will ONLY consider claims paid for by a credit card! In a medical emergency in a foreign country one is not thinking about asking emergency medical care provider if they can process credit cards! So they'd deny a legitimate claim that had all the necessary documentation EXCEPT for the credit card statements since the provider could not process credit cards. We submitted signed and stamped receipts that had serial numbers on them but they would not accept them.

Also, they kept on repeatedly asking for exact same documents even though they have been already submitted - 3 times for proof of social security number and the date of birth even though copy of S.S. card and driving licence were already submitted. And they asked for a signed claim form a couple of times even though this was already submitted on opening the case. As someone who's been using travel insurance often for well over 30 years and had number of claims submitted, I find GoReady to be completely worthless. Will NEVER use them again!

    Response from Aegis

We’re sorry for Steven’s negative experience. There was some initial confusion with 1 of their 2 claims being opened under their traveling companion’s name as that individual was the lead on the policy. It was later made clear that Steven had suffered 2 incidents during his trip on 2 separate dates.

Following receipt of this review, our management team got involved. That same day, we were able to settle both of Steven’s claims which have been approved for payment. We hope Steven gives us another chance to show him that this is not a typical claims experience with our company.

So far process is slower than expected. I mailed everything they requested a couple of days ago. This should be an easy trip cancellation claim to process. I provided all the medical and financial information. Reviews on line are very concerning. Let’s see how it goes. Please check back in four weeks as I stated earlier.

    Review Updated: 04/08/2023

There were some expected wait times on phone, but people I reached were friendly and competent. Go Ready is a subsidiary of Zurich Insurance located in Europe. This concerned me, but it was not an issue. They wire you the money, so you will have to get a Swift Code from your bank. Again, I was concerned, but they wired the money promptly after getting my information. I was charged an 18 dollar wire by Citizens Bank, but there was no getting around it.

I was very worried by negative reviews, but I did not encounter any issues.
There is paperwork to fill out by you and your doctor. I was pleasantly surprised how fast my claim was processed once I sent them the paperwork. I have to commend Go Ready for how quickly and smoothly the whole claims process went.

    Response from Aegis

Our claims department did receive the documentation by mail. Benefits do apply & our claim team will be contacting the insured shortly to finalize payment.

Sent some emails regarding possible issues with our travel and received prompt response. Was no need to file a claim.
