I got Covid & they found 3 doctor offices for me. It was the weekend & the offices weren’t open. They should have known that Scotland has a ‘test & treat’ policy, whereby pharmacists can treat Covid patients. However, I tried that & im not sure how widespread that information is because the pharmacy I tried did not!

The only good experience I had after my luggage went missing was when I called Generali. They assured me I could wait and file my claim anytime within a year of my trip. Since I also caught Covid and I’m still not feeling well, this is a relief.

On the way home my connecting flight arrived hours late and I missed my connecting flight. I had to sleep over in Denver which was paid for by United Airlines, I submitted a claim for food and transportation in the amount of $190.05 but receipt has not been acknowledged. Robert Beck

We traveled to the UK and the Airline list our luggage. We had to purchase clothes in the UK and we were reimbursed promptly. Generali couldn't have been nicer.

I was stuck in London half way to Kenya when I needed to stop my trip and return to Phoenix. I couldn't get help from anyone at Generali, I could only leave phone messages. I gave up, and came home put putting the flight on my credit card and will try to deal with filing a claim now. I was scared, hurt, and alone in a huge and unfamiliar country. Although when I booked my trip I never thought I'd need the Global Assistance I bought it at the encouragement of my children. But when it turns out I did need it, I was unable to get the kind of help advertised.

Don't bother with this company and don't believe their advertisements. My claim was denied due to a technicality and there was no way to appeal it and no provision for extenuating circumstances. I feel cheated by the "fine print". The advertisement made it seem this was a company that would work with you given the situations that interrupt travel from the Covid pandemic. They were not and are not. I feel ripped off. I don't recommend them to anyone. Save your $.

We were not able to travel due to both travelers contracting Covid prior to the trip departure. Travel company would not allow travel due to positive diagnosis less than 14 days to departure. Small claim for nonrefundable airfare has been submitted.
